Traveling as far as the Florida panhandle, owner Dale Cashman hand-picks all of the lumber used in our furniture making. As production costs and product demand have risen over the years, Dale’s commitment to quality remains his first priority, ensuring only the finest lumber is selected and brought home to the Outer Banks for use in our products.
Prep with the greatest care…
Once the lumber is cured and ready, it is fully planed and then hand sanded to a smooth finish. White cedar requires no stain, oil, varnish, or other finishing; it weathers naturally and beautifully to a silver gray patina. With reasonable care, your carefully crafted furniture will provide 20 to 25 years of comfort and attractive durability.
Build with precision…
Lumber is carefully cut to exact measurements and finished with beveled and rounded edges for maximum comfort. We assemble our furniture with 100% brass, hot dipped galvanized, or stainless steel hardware. Nails and staples are never used!

Once a piece of furniture is complete, it either makes it’s way into our showroom for you to sample or it gets prepped to ship to a new home. It is then yours to enjoy for many years to come.
How to Order
How do I decide what items I want?
If you are in the Outer Banks, we suggest you visit our shop in Frisco to see (and try!) our products in person. We can help you decide which items will best meet your needs. If you are not nearby, you may request a catalog which we will send to you by mail. Click our “request a catalog” button or give us a call and we’ll get one sent to you right away!
How do I place an order?
Once you have selected the item(s) you would like to purchase from our Catalog or Item List, we would be happy to take your order over the phone. We can calculate your total, including shipping and packaging fees. At that time, you can either pay by credit card or send a check or money order to us in the mail.
How will I receive my order?
Before any furniture leaves our shop, items are assembled and then disassembled, at which time all component parts are coded. Included with the shipment are easy-to-follow assembly instructions. All that is necessary for re-assembly are basic hand tools, adhesive (can be added to your purchase), and a small amount of your time. We’re happy to help if you have any questions.
